The 60’s in London, saw American Rhythm and Blues take hold of the nation’s music scene, spawning the British Invasion with groups like the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Towards the end of the 60’s, British blues guitarist Peter Green formed a band with Mick Fleetwood and John McVie (And later John’s wife Christine McVie), that was heavily influenced by this era. With future additions of Americans Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, Fleetwood Mac became a union that celebrates two great nations that have in shaped the music industry.
