Oh God said to Abraham, “Kill me a son”
Abe says, “Man, you must be puttin’ me on”
God say, “No.” Abe say, “What?”
God say, “You can do what you want Abe, but
The next time you see me comin’ you better run”
Well Abe says, “Where do you want this killin’ done?”
God says, “Out on Highway 61”

Rolling Stone ranks it #4 of their 2003 top 500 albums. And Like a Rolling Stone was the #1 song … even though the organist had never played organ before!

But which Highway 61 didee mean? Some say this one. I dunno…. Anyway, this album proved — and plenty of big names noticed — that hit songs didn’t have to be moon-June love songs. It also helped Dylan lose his folkie image.
